1934 Plymouth PF Sedan under restoration by Bill Shannon
This retro daily driver is a classic '34 Plymouth PF 4-door sedan has been lovingly restored, although it is a work in progress. The owner dropped a 1955 Plymouth, 230 c.i. flathead 6-cylinder engine in and backed it up with a Chrysler synchro 3-speed tranny, both functional improvements over the original.
Those are 16" wire wheels with retro radial tires. And that's an original 1934 yellow California plate.
This is a 230 cubic inch flathead 6 out of a 1955 forklift engine from the San Francisco Airport, a big improvement over the original motor. Note the twin down draft carburetors on the aluminum intake manifold. What you can't see from this side is the 6-into-2 exhaust headers. It runs great and is driven almost daily.
This was the original engine.
The interior is an original restoration. Note the gauges.
